What Happened To The Flu?
The reason for the drop: probably all the precautions we’ve been taking to avoid COVID-19. These efforts may not have stopped the pandemic, but they seem to have worked well against the flu. Even so, experts warn that the flu season isn’t over and won’t be for at least a few more weeks. If you haven’t had your flu shot this year, it isn’t too late – not only will it prevent 40 to 60 percent of all cases of the flu, the shots also reduce the severity of the flu if you become infected.
