A new integrative medicine clinic that Dr. Weil hopes will become a "model for primary care nationwide" is now receiving patients. The Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine (AzCIM), in coordination with Maricopa County and District Medical Group (DMG), opened the University of Arizona Integrative Health Center in Phoenix, Arizona, on Nov. 2, 2012.
The health center will care for patients according to the principles of integrative medicine, with staff clinicians including M.D.s, as well as healthcare practitioners trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine, chiropractic, nutrition and other therapies.
