Bio-identicals and Post Menopausal

I have been reading about the bio-identicals and now am in the process of doing all the tests for them (saliva, etc..) but recently head that if you had a total hysterectomy 10 yrs ago or longer you should not go on them?? i had one 10 yrs ago?? Now i wonder if it is a good idea??  sunsetgal

From what I have learned, it's the opposite.  Any risk is usually associated with taking estrogen unopposed by progesterone.  The rish is uterine cancer.  I'm on bhrt and have been having excessive postmenopausal periods (I'm 64).  Without a uterus, you avoid that inconvenient issue.
